There is nice article in polish news portal (ONET) about some american group from San Francisco which called themselves "Compact" after Mayflower compact.

 

They promised themselves not to consumpt for a year (actually crossed the time and still continue) to prove that there is a possibility for a life without the illness of "buying".

And back to my own country reality we could have easily whole Poland compacted.

It can be true if even our president is worried about too optimistic consumption in the country:

Heh.. funny again if they get a "clever" idea to put some local law into the legislature process to ban too optimistic consumption.

It's not like I have one particular concept of scenario but when I watch news in TV for I don't remember how long period only a comedy is there. Scandal covers scandal. Decisions I can call only with one term - absurd. Fronts are created then demolished then coalition still like a phoenix from the ashes comes back to the living.

 

If you have distance in these observations (lot of people still don't) you can say that you just watch some class B sitcom alike tv-serie.

I stopped taking care that's why I perceive it now as comedy. For the very first time since I became adult and could vote I don't want to continue participating in this comedy.

 

Soon new election madness arrives. I pass. Have fun - I don't care anymore. I'd rather like to see our country conquered again if this has to be a continual movement in our local quality of politics.

Sometimes I wish I didn't live in Poland. If I see how our local politics work, how long road in front of our country fellows to fully feel being modern nation. If not Warsaw and my current position I wish I'd lived in London or anywhere in the world where anything is just as should be.

 

And what I'm blamming this time? Piracy ratio mainly. Thanks dudes. I cannot even order my favourite music in mp3 using iTunes and/or Urge being still legal due to fact nobody trust in Poles in context of piracy.

 

My prediction is.. 10-20 years I have to wait until it starts really working here...

 

Thanks to Warsaw and my friends who tries to make a difference. Yes.. in Poland live people who BUY not STEAL stuff they trully like.
